We are the trust that looks after the old Shiv-Hanuman mandir on Mandir Marg, a temple the town has walked to since our grandparents' time, now run by a registered dharmarth trust of eleven local families. Devotees come for the 5:30 am mangala aarti, Monday rudrabhishek, Tuesday Hanuman chalisa path and the big utsavs of Shivratri, Hanuman Jayanti and Navratri, while families from outside the city book poojas in their name and receive prasad by courier. The temple runs an annakshetra that serves a simple bhojan prasad every afternoon, a 14-room dharamshala for pilgrims and a free Sunday Gita class for children. Every rupee that comes in is receipted, the accounts are read out at the annual sabha and pinned on the notice board, and the pandits who do your seva are the same four Acharyas who have served here for years.
Shravan special: four Monday rudrabhisheks for the price of three
Book all four Shravan Mondays together for ₹3,300 instead of ₹4,400; prasad is couriered home after every Monday and your name is read in each sankalp.
