We are the registered samiti of our samaj for the city and the nearby tehsils, run by office bearers the member families elect every three years. From the Samaj Bhawan on Civil Lines Road we look after what a community needs through the year: the annual sammelan, Vivah Parichay for families searching rishtas, book and fee support for students, a hall and dharamshala for weddings, and a team that reaches a member's home within hours when there is a bereavement or a hospital emergency. Every rupee of membership and donation is entered in a receipt book and the audited accounts are read out at the annual general meeting and shared in the members' WhatsApp group. New families who have moved to the city are welcome; one message and a karyakarta from your area will visit you.
